The mussels are cleaned, de-bearded, and purged of sand before packing. The vacuum pack process retains the mussels natural juices and flavor and provides 100% yield with no gapers or unusable mussels to discard.
These fully cooked mussels can be boiled or steamed in or outside of the packaging. Reheat by boiling, steaming or sautéing for 8-10 minutes, and the mussels will open just as if prepared from fresh!
